From the moment I walked in the door of the Kenly News office this morning at 8 a.m. I was going full speed until I left at about 8 p.m. It was the busiest, most full day I’ve had since baseball ended.
I worked from 8 til 11:30, driving around to meet people who didn’t show up for interviews and calling people who referred me to other people who didn’t answer – any of the three times I called throughout the day – and never called back. Trying to track down doctor names for stories and figuring out records for sports teams and finding names for pictures – some of which I undoubtedly screwed up. readmore|leavecomment
