Me and my two brothers were playing a game of 21 at the house this weekend. Actually, it was Monday evening after our big Memorial Day grill out. Good times.

A ramble on Christianity
May 28, 2008 · 1 Comment
Lately, as the twelve of you who frequent this blog know, I have been getting into Rob Bell’s thoughts a little bit. He’s one person I think may think as much as I do. I have a lot of respect for him and his ideas on things in life in relation to God and Christianity. He’s apparently been called the posterboy for the next generation of Christianity. A lot of Christians are threatened by him, however. One of the largest concerns people have about him is that he seems to believe there is no literal eternal hell. Now, I have not come across that specifically yet, though he alludes to something like that in his book Velvet Elvis. He also explains the power we hold as humans, and that worries some pastors, or at least, ones that have YouTube videos of themselves up preaching.
It sucks how many Christians totally miss the heart of the message because of the details surrounding it.
